Bio
Ryan Robidoux is the artist and designer known as Evoker. His vast body of work ranges from large-scale murals to skateboard graphics. When he's not working on project-based freelance design, Ryan acts as the exhibit preparator at the Jamestown Arts Center in Rhode Island, a contemporary gallery and mixed-use arts space.
With his company Mister Mural, Ryan creates custom murals in private residences and businesses such as Frog and Toad, Bodega, Civil, and Monster Color.
In addition to creating artwork, Ryan co-curates gallery shows, including Monster Party, an interactive children's exhibit, which most recently ran for three months at the Boston Children's Museum. In 2014, Ryan served as the curator for OneWay Gallery in Narragansett, RI.
As a commercial artist he's produced work for clients such as Coca Cola Japan, Nickelodeon, Loft Lab, Microsoft, The Lonely Island, and Adidas.
Ryan also produces skateboard deck graphics for companies including Hessen Mob, 7ply, Orchard, Proletariat, Civil, Hive, Watershed, Gansett Juice, and Academy.
Ryan's work has been featured in the books Peel: The Art of the Sticker, Street Art Contemporary Prints, Label 228, Stuck Up, and he was interviewed and featured on the cover of Surface Area Magazine issue #1.
As an artist he has exhibited paintings and installations at ICA Boston in Boston, My Plastic Heart in NYC, Mighty Tanaka in Brooklyn, Art Whino in Washington, D.C., Black Rat Press Gallery in London, One Way Gallery in Rhode Island, Lab Boston in Boston, Nottingham Castle and Museum in Nottingham, Fourth Wall Gallery in Boston, Wootini in North Carolina, Bodega in Boston, Scion Gallery in Oregon, and he has a currently has a piece on display in the Street Art collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
